Radiation Protection for the PET/CT Department in Kristianstad
Project Information:
For the new PET-CT treatment department in Kristianstad, we delivered complete radiation protection. PET-CT departments generate a significant amount of radiation, making it crucial for the radiation protection to be correctly designed and installed. To ensure proper installation, we contributed with detailed drawings and acted as a link between the hospital physicists and the construction workers.
Since the large lead thicknesses resulted in heavy doors, this also required specific automation. In this project, we worked with Tormax, who provides solutions for this.
